Augsburg, August 27, 2025 – SWAN GmbH, a project house for SAP logistics, is setting a strong example of technological innovation and true customer orientation with its new app “SWAN Lumina Client.” The central application for mobile SAP solutions is the result of a structured innovation process that involves both employees and customers alike.

SWAN pursues an open innovation strategy. With the Kickbox methodology, based on the principles of Design Thinking and Lean Startup, all employees are given the opportunity to further develop their own ideas—regardless of position or department. Creative approaches to solving customer challenges are systematically promoted and validated at an early stage through customer feedback. The Products & Innovation department supports this process, identifies potential, and transforms promising ideas into market-ready product solutions.

With the development of a client for mobile SAP applications—optimized for SAP Fiori/UI5 and ITSmobile dialogs—SWAN has proactively transformed customer feedback from project work into a standardized solution. The client offers a powerful alternative to regular browsers for orchestrating SAP dialogs on mobile devices from various manufacturers, particularly for use in on-premise systems. With the client, SWAN creates a central entry point for different mobile SAP technologies.
