New premises for SWAN

Standort Nürnberg

Augsburg/Nuremberg/Weiden, November 30, 2022. SWAN GmbH responds to its growth in recent years and invests in two locations. The branch in Nuremberg received a large-scale expansion of 340 m². This provides space for at least 20 new jobs and common areas. The current location in Altenstadt an der Waldnaab will soon relocate to Weiden. There, 16 workstations are available in a modern energy-efficient building.

Since its founding over ten years ago, the SAP logistics experts at SWAN have grown to about 140 employees and seven locations. A development that calls for spatial changes. Two locations have now been expanded by the end of the year. The office in Nuremberg, with around 35 employees, one of the three major branches of SWAN after the headquarters in Augsburg and the Giebelstadt location, received an additional area of 340 m² at the beginning of November. For this purpose, the SAP logisticians rented a second floor in the existing office building. This created around 20 new jobs, including some flex workstations. A modern open-space stand, additional shared workspaces for up to nine people, and a large meeting room also find space here.

The new expansion area at the Nuremberg location offers numerous flex workstations and a spacious open-space stand.

The employees of the Altenstadt an der Waldnaab location are looking forward to new premises in Weiden from mid-December, six kilometers away. The special feature: The SWAN team is moving into a newly constructed energy-efficient house in the city center. Contemporary design and many wooden elements ensure a pleasant room climate. The ecological construction offers space for twice as many employees as before on 324 m². In addition to 16 modern equipped individual workstations, the new building has various open multifunctional areas that meet the requirements of agile work methods and hybrid teams. Whether cozy lounge area, flexible staircase stand, or spacious, green roof terrace – the premises offer plenty of communal areas.

SWAN addresses the needs of modern work models in the design of the new offices. “We want to create more space for our employees. With variable flex workstations and open-space solutions, we want to meet the requirements of our New Work philosophy as best as possible,” says Yvonne Oehme, Procurator of SWAN GmbH.
