SWAN receives another award in the Great Place to Work® competition

Great Place To Work 2023

Project House for SAP Logistics Ranked Among the Best Employers in the ITK Industry

Augsburg, March 10, 2023 – SWAN GmbH once again ranks among the top employers in the ITK industry in Germany. For the second consecutive year, the project house for SAP logistics has received an excellent placement in the ITK sector for its workplace culture in the Great Place to Work® “Best Employers Competition” by the internationally renowned research and consulting institute. SWAN ranks 29th nationwide in the “Best Employers ITK” category.

Founded in 2011, SWAN GmbH aimed to create a company where employees are the focus. Regular employee feedback has always been an important tool to assess whether this ideal has been achieved and to identify areas for improvement. For the second year in a row, these efforts have been recognized in the Great Place to Work® Institute’s employer competition, founded in 1991. SWAN GmbH remains among the top 30 employers in the ITK sector for the second consecutive year.

The awards from the Great Place to Work® Institute are largely based on anonymous and representative employee surveys on topics such as trust in leadership, team spirit, fairness, appreciation, respect, and identification with the company. A written culture audit on measures and programs to create an attractive workplace culture also contributes to the final evaluation. The differentiated results and employee feedback help to further develop the corporate culture and contribute to effective and credible employer branding.

This year, 77 percent of employees participated in the survey, confirming the outstanding results from 2020. 93 percent of SWAN employees who participated agree with the statement “All in all, I can say that this is a very good workplace”; 92 percent would recommend SWAN as an employer.

“We are proud to have achieved outstanding results once again in the recent survey. After nearly doubling in size through the merger with colleagues from the SSI Schäfer Group, this survey was particularly important for us to see how well the integration of both companies has been successful. The encouraging aspect is that, in some cases, we even surpassed the results of the 2020 survey, which we see as an indicator of a very successful integration,” says Alexander Bernhard, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.
