LogiMAT 2023

Augsburg, 07.03.2023 – Innovative, automated, and user-centered: This is how SWAN GmbH presents itself and its intralogistics solutions based on the SAP modules SAP EWM and SAP TM at this year’s LogiMAT. The SAP logistics project house focuses on the theme of “usability,” with innovative core products like the SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit clearly in focus. In addition, SWAN provides insights into the future corporate strategy and showcases successfully implemented projects at international companies in the automotive, pharmaceutical, fashion, and food industries, including Brose, BASF, Triumph, and apetito. You can find SWAN in Hall 8 at Stand D47.

SWAN underlines its comprehensive expertise in the field of manual and automated logistics solutions with this year’s trade fair appearance. In addition to strongly usability- and performance-oriented solutions based on SAPUI5 (SAP User Interface 5) such as the 3D Logistics Cockpit, SWAN offers further automation solutions for intralogistics. These include innovative add-ons in the areas of material flow, direct coupling, IoT connection, and Real-Time Location Systems (RTLS). SWAN’s range of services also includes the control of automated systems, the development of technical interfaces for the integration of SAP and non-SAP systems, as well as continuous consulting and service offerings throughout the entire solution life cycle.

SWAN has already demonstrated its deep technological and industry-specific expertise in the implementation of tailored, efficient, and modular SAP logistics solutions for numerous international major customers. The company illustrates the success of the SWAN project methodology with manifold project examples.

Optimized Usability: SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit and SAPUI5

At LogiMAT 2023, SWAN presents innovative core products of its portfolio, including the SWAN 3D Logistics Cockpit. This product scores high with its user-friendliness. The solution utilizes existing data from SAP EWM and creates an interactive virtual 3D representation of the warehouse. This “digital twin” provides real-time information on stocks, warehouse structures, and movements – visually appealing and clearly presented. Control is done in the realistic 3D interface based on SAPUI5 and can be operated intuitively. As a Fiori application, it can be integrated into any SAP system; retrofitting is also possible in existing installations. Moreover, it is also usable on mobile devices.

High-Performance Transport Management with SAP TM

In addition, SWAN is driving the consistent expansion of the SAP Transportation Management (TM) business area. Given supply shortages and increased transparency requirements, data-driven TM is becoming increasingly important. SWAN offers companies bundled solutions for high-performance transport management with SAP TM in combination with SAP EWM. The direct integration of transport management into the SAP landscape allows planning and execution of goods flows and transport types directly in the system. The result of the increasing channeling of all SAP processes: more efficiency, transparency, and thus noticeable cost relief along the entire supply chain.

Trade fair visitors can learn about SWAN’s further strategic alignment at LogiMAT. Managing Director Alexander Bernhard: “For 2023, we aim for a further sharpening of the product portfolio. This will better meet the changing needs and requirements of future digitization projects in logistics.”
