Augsburg, November 25, 2020 – SWAN GmbH, project house for SAP logistics, is paying its employees a corona bonus for their work in the turbulent pandemic year. With the one-off special payment, the logistics expert recognizes the great commitment, the excellent performance and the enormous flexibility of all employees in the difficult year 2020. The amount of the bonus and the decision to treat all employees equally, regardless of their position or weekly working hours, were made jointly by all team leaders. Payment will be made in November.

“Due to the global corona pandemic, we had to react quickly and boldly in the spring. Suddenly we were confronted with the situation of realizing ongoing projects largely without on-site appointments with our customers and business partners, canceling trade fairs and events and arranging ourselves completely in the home office,” says Alexander Bernhard, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.

Despite the new and unusual work situation, the company has come through the crisis well so far. The independent and flexible way of working of all employees, the existing technology of the SWAN working environment, the short communication and decision-making paths as well as the decentralized location concept have made a significant contribution to this.

Due to the enormous personal commitment and the unbroken commitment within the team, SWAN is ending the 2020 financial year very successfully. The logistics expert recognizes the outstanding performance of all employees with a one-time Corona bonus.

The workforce receives the financial thank you with the salary payment in November. Due to a regulation in the Corona Tax Assistance Act, the payment is tax and social security-free. The amount of the bonus payment for the SWAN employees is independent of the current salary amount, the hours worked per week, the vacation quota and the grouping in the company. It is based exclusively on the length of employment in 2020.
