SWAN expands management: Alexander Bernhard becomes managing director

The year 2019 begins for SWAN GmbH with a strengthening of the management team. On February 1, 2019, Alexander Bernhard, previously an authorized signatory, will be appointed to the management team and will now lead the company together with André Nowinski. This is not least in recognition of SWAN’s continuous growth in recent years.

Many years of experience in the SAP and logistics environment

Alexander Bernhard has already been with SWAN GmbH since its founding in 2011 and is the site manager of the headquarters in Stadtbergen. He had also been an authorized signatory of the company since the beginning of 2017. The logistics expert builds on his 18 years of experience in the international SAP and logistics environment. Before joining SWAN GmbH, he worked for the logistics general contractor Dematic, among others.

“I am very much looking forward to my new responsibilities, the challenges that come with them and to continuing to write the SWAN success story,” says Alexander Bernhard about his appointment. In the future, Alexander Bernhard would like to continue to offer his customers rapid implementation of their intralogistics projects and accompany them on their way with know-how and innovative ideas. To this end, he is responsible for the “Projects” and “Customer Service” business units within the company.

“I already have a close working relationship with Alexander Bernhard from the time before SWAN was founded. I am therefore delighted that we have been able to gain excellent reinforcement and a proven expert for our rapidly growing company in him,” says André Nowinski, previously the sole managing director of SWAN GmbH.

SWAN continues to grow

By the end of 2019, SWAN will have around 70 experts. At the individual locations in Stadtbergen, Nuremberg, Wächtersbach and Altenstadt (Waldnaab), the company consistently relies on mixed teams of experienced employees and young talents, who together implement a variety of automated system solutions based on the SAP modules EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), MFS (Material Flow System), WM (Warehouse Management) and TM (Transportation Management).
