Project house for SAP logistics is one of the best employers in the ICT industry

Augsburg, March 10, 2023 – SWAN GmbH is once again one of the top employers in the ICT industry in Germany. This is the second time in a row at which the project house for SAP logistics has received an excellent ranking in the ICT sector for its workplace culture in the Great Place to Work® “Best Employers Competition” organized by the international research and consulting institute with the same name. In the “Best ICT Employers” category, SWAN was ranked 29th in Germany.
Back in 2011, the founders of SWAN GmbH wanted to create a company in which the focus is on the employees. As such, regular employee feedback has always been an important tool for evaluating whether this ideal has been implemented and where there is room for optimization. For the second time in a row, these efforts have been recognized in the employer competition of the Great Place to Work® Institute, founded in 1991. SWAN GmbH is also among the best 30 employers in the ICT sector in its second year of participation.
The Great Place to Work® Institute awards are mainly based on anonymous and representative employee surveys covering the topics trust in managers, team spirit, fairness, appreciation, respect, and identification with the company. A written culture audit on measures and programs to create an attractive workplace culture is also included in the final evaluation. The differentiated results and employee impulses help to further develop the corporate culture and stand for effective and credible employer branding.

Eighty-seven percent of the employees participated in this year’s survey, confirming the outstanding survey result from 2020. 93 percent of SWAN employees who participated agreed with the statement “All in all, I can say this is a very good place to work”; 92 percent would recommend SWAN as an employer.
“We are proud to have once again achieved an outstanding result in the second survey. After we have almost doubled in size after the fusion with the colleagues of the SSI Schäfer Group, this survey was particulary important for us to see how well we succeeded in merging the two companies. The most gratifying thing here is that we were able to even exceed the results of the 2020 survey in some cases, which we take as an indicator of the very successful integration,” says Alexander Bernhard, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.
