New office space for SWAN

Augsburg/Nuremberg/Weiden, November 30th 2022. SWAN GmbH reacts to its growth of the last years and invests in two office sites. The branch in Nuremberg received a large-scale expansion of 340 m². This has created space for at least 20 new workspaces and community rooms. The previous site in Altenstadt an der Waldnaab will soon move to Weiden. There, 16 workstations are located in a modern energy-efficient building.

Since its founding over ten years ago, SWAN’s SAP logistics experts have grown to around 140 employees and seven locations. A development that demands spatial change. Two locations have now been enlarged at the end of the year. The office in Nuremberg, with about 35 employees so far one of the three large branches of SWAN after the headquarters in Augsburg and the Giebelstadt location, received an expansion area of 340 m² at the beginning of November. For this purpose, the SAP logistics specialists rented a second floor in the existing office building. This created about 20 new workplaces, including some flex workstations. A modern open-space tribune, additional shared workspaces for up to nine people and a large meeting room can also be found here.

From mid December, employees at the Altenstadt site will be happy to have new offices in Weiden, six kilometers away. The special part: The SWAN team moves into a newly built energy-efficient building in the center of town: Contemporary design and many elements made of wood provide a pleasant indoor climate. The ecological building offers 324 m2 of space for twice as many employees as before. In addition to 16 individual workstations with modern equipment, the new building has various open multifunctional areas that meet the requirements of agile working methods and hybrid teams. Whether it’s a cozy lounge area, flexible stairway bleachers, or a spacious, landscaped rooftop terrace, the space offers plenty of common areas.

SWAN is addressing the needs of modern work models in the design of the new offices. “We want to create more space for our employees. With variable flex workstations and open-space solutions, we want to meet the requirements of our new-work philosophy in the best possible way,” says Yvonne Oehme, authorized signatory of SWAN GmbH.
