AUTOSTORE WITH SAP EWM
AutoStore offers you a powerful, flexible and quickly scalable solution for storing and picking small parts. The system is completely integrable into SAP EWM and can also be retrofitted in existing warehouses without major construction measures. This allows you to expand the storage capacity on your existing storage area with little effort by making the best use of the storage space.
As a modular system, AutoStore is based on system containers stored in blocks that are moved by robots along an aluminum structure called a grid. The special design of the AutoStore construction uses the available space optimally: The bins are stacked directly on top of each other, allowing multiple items to be stored in a single bin. Storage and retrieval of the containers are automated by robots, which significantly reduces the error rate. Thanks to the intelligent rearrangement of bins during order processing, products that are needed more frequently are stored higher up, which again significantly reduces order fulfillment times.
The system can be expanded at will and grows with your business volume. Altogether, the AutoStore system offers you an efficient, space-saving and flexible solution for warehousing and picking. This improves productivity, reduces operating costs and increases customer satisfaction through faster and more accurate order processing. Regardless of whether you want to introduce new robots, storage locations, ports or logistics processes: With AutoStore and the right logistics software that grows with you, you remain flexible.
Connect AutoStore directly to your intralogistics software: We seamlessly integrate AutoStore into your SAP EWM. The direct integration without middleware allows a fast integration of existing plants as well as a quick commissioning of new assets. The standardization of your IT landscape created by the reduction of technical interfaces allows improved data evaluability and, as a result, greater efficiency in ongoing operations. Thanks to our solution, AutoStore can be integrated into your logistics processes in just a few days. Dependencies exist for new installations in terms of delivery time as well as assembly of the AutoStore system construction.
The management of all warehousing and picking processes itself is carried out from your SAP system. This lean system and associated process integration gives you complete visibility and control over your warehouse operations in real time. At the same time, the system is operated via a single interface: via SAP EWM warehouse tasks for storage, delivery or production orders, your employee requests bins and AutoStore optimizes the delivery to the picking ports. Experience optimized control of the AutoStore system with all detailed data from your SAP EWM system.
Direct integration without middleware allows fast system start-up and reduces the overall complexity of your system.
Intuitive UI5 user interfaces deliver simplicity of use and reduce human error.
Thanks to deep process integration, you directly access all management functions of your SAP EWM.
The automated and optimized control of the AutoStore system with all detailed data from your SAP system increases the efficiency of your system.
With our SWAN implementation strategy, you can improve AutoStore’s performance even further and make your employees’ work easier. A key element of the SWAN AutoStore implementation in SAP is modern UI5-based dialogs that are intuitive to use and easy to learn. The well-structured interfaces increase transparency, save time during familiarization and in everyday use, and fit seamlessly into your existing SAP EWM solution.
In addition to above-average usability, SWAN’s solution delivers ready-to-use best-practice processes for storage, order picking, and legally compliant inventory procedures. The SWAN system offers full support for the typical container subdivisions, access to all relevant material information and suitable logistics strategies. To complement our “ready-to-use” dashboards for SAP EWM processes for storage, picking, picking and inventory, we also develop custom interfaces and evaluations to meet specific customer requirements.
We accompany you on the way to an integrated AutoStore system: from planning to implementation of your networked automated warehouse.
