Online pharmacies

The mapping of complex processes for compliance with the FMD directive, sampling and pharmacy modules integrated into the intralogistics process represent interesting challenges in the area of online pharmacies and can be fully mapped in SAP EWM. A wide variety of handling processes in the area of OTC and RX products (non-prescription/prescription) in the pharmaceutical industry place high demands on SAP warehouse software.

A-frame picking

An A-frame picking system enables complex orders to be processed quickly – even at peak capacity utilisation. It guarantees you the greatest possible productivity and an optimised material flow. The A-Frame solution can be easily integrated into existing systems. Up to 40,000 products can be picked per hour, which is why automatic picking machines are generally used when automatically pickable products have to be picked at maximum output.

The order scheduling and compilation of the shipping cartons takes place via SAP EWM, as does the routing between manual and automated picking areas in the warehouse.
