SWAN expands in Dortmund
and drives the SAP Digital Supply Chain forward
Consulting and implementation for SAP-based logistics
Augsburg, July 14, 2026 – SWAN, the SAP logistics consulting firm, is consistently continuing its growth trajectory. To keep pace with rising demand, SWAN GmbH has moved into new, modern offices in Dortmund. The approximately 330-square-meter office space accommodates up to 40 employees and supports the company’s further growth plans, particularly regarding the expansion of the operational SAP Digital Supply Chain.
Dortmund is an important location for SWAN. Based in one of Europe’s largest logistics regions—and in close proximity to universities and research institutions—the company advises industrial and commercial clients on the implementation of SAP-based logistics processes and cloud transformation. With the move to larger premises in July 2026, SWAN is creating space for an expanded team of SAP consultants, developers, and technology experts.
In the coming years, SWAN plans to further expand its Dortmund location and increase the number of employees from the current 20 to up to 40[AB1.1]. The new office offers modern workspaces, good access to public transportation, and an attractive environment for employees.
Driving the operational SAP Digital Supply Chain from Dortmund
The expansion in Dortmund is closely linked to SWAN’s strategic direction. The company is systematically expanding its service portfolio along the operational SAP Digital Supply Chain, ranging from SAP EWM and SAP TM through S/4HANA and cloud transformations to the SAP licensing business. In doing so, SWAN supports companies from strategic consulting through technical implementation to long-term operations.
“A fully interconnected digital supply chain can only be created where technology remains understandable to users. This is precisely the goal we are consistently pursuing with our teams, including from our Dortmund location,” emphasizes Matthias Martens, Managing Director of SWAN GmbH.
In doing so, SWAN is responding to market developments. The demands on modern SAP logistics solutions are continuously increasing as companies modernize their system landscapes and implement cloud strategies. SWAN supports its customers with practical concepts and is systematically expanding the necessary expertise at its locations.
Stronger Market Presence and Further Growth Plans
By expanding its Dortmund location, SWAN is strengthening its presence in North Rhine-Westphalia and laying the groundwork for further growth. The focus is on SAP development, consulting along the digital supply chain, as well as logistics automation and robotics. SWAN expanded its Walldorf location at the SAP PartnerPort as early as 2025. The space, measuring just under 270 square meters, accommodates up to 21 employees and leverages its strategic proximity to SAP to drive innovation.
For customers, this means an expanded team of experts, short lines of communication, and close support throughout all phases of their transformation projects—from modernizing existing SAP landscapes to implementing new cloud and logistics solutions.
