Great Place to Work®: Award Triple for SWAN

Project House for SAP Logistics Once Again Recognized Among the Best Employers – in the ITC Industry, in Bavaria, and for the First Time, Nationwide in Germany
Augsburg, April 17, 2025 – SWAN GmbH secures the award triple for the first time with three distinctions from the renowned Great Place to Work® competition. SWAN was honored once again, as in 2023, in the categories “Bavaria’s Best Employers” and “Best Employers in the ITC Industry.” This year marks a premiere: In 2025, SWAN is also recognized for the first time among Germany’s best employers in the category of companies with 50 to 250 employees. The international research and consulting institute Great Place to Work® annually honors outstanding employers.
Key criteria that define an excellent workplace culture according to Great Place to Work® include credibility, respect, fairness, pride, and team spirit. These values are central to the anonymous and representative employee surveys conducted by the independent research and consulting institute. In addition to reaffirming its 2023 successes, SWAN’s continuous efforts toward improvement have now also been rewarded with a ranking among Germany’s best employers for the first time.
Key Criterion: Employee Feedback
Since its founding in 2011, employee feedback has been a vital tool for SWAN to understand the suggestions, wishes, and needs of its employees. Based on this feedback from everyday work experiences, SWAN continuously initiates necessary changes, adjusts processes, and reassesses strategies. The results of the latest surveys conducted within the framework of the Great Place to Work® competition confirm the company’s path of closely integrating employees — a core element of SWAN’s DNA.
Luisa Kleider, HR Manager at SWAN, summarizes: “These results encourage us to continue regularly listening to, taking seriously, and implementing the ideas and wishes of our employees.” She adds: “We are particularly pleased that 93 percent of our employees consider SWAN to be an excellent workplace. Now, we are working on convincing the remaining seven percent as well.”
The continuous collection, evaluation, and implementation of employee feedback have already earned SWAN placements in the categories “Bavaria’s Best Employers” and “Best Employers in the ITC Industry” two and four years ago. The current success in the category “Germany’s Best Employers” proves that SWAN has not rested on its laurels.
Great Place to Work®: Detailed Insights into the Survey
The differentiated market and excellence comparison provides detailed insights into the survey results, comparing them to market benchmarks. SWAN stands out particularly positively in the categories of respect and team spirit. For example, 96 percent of respondents — a significantly above-average figure — state that their leaders recognize “that mistakes can happen” and appreciate when team members are willing to try new things.
In addition to this positive error culture, SWAN also boasts an exceptionally strong sense of team spirit. With 95 percent or more, employees indicate that they feel they can truly be themselves, that they care for one another, and that new colleagues are well integrated into team structures during internal transitions.
